Boxing game times

A 'Saturday night' fight is rarely Saturday night for you: Vegas main events land Sunday morning in Europe, and UK cards hit the US mid-afternoon. Typical ring-walk times by host city, converted to your clock.

Big cards run on the host broadcaster's prime time — UK cards ~10pm UK, Vegas cards later still.

Boxing — quick answers

Why do boxing main events start so late?

Cards are built backwards from the main event, which is placed at the peak of the host broadcaster's prime time — and undercard results can push it later. Ring walks are estimates, not promises.

How long does a boxing match last?

Championship fights are scheduled for 12 three-minute rounds with one-minute breaks — about 47 minutes if it goes the distance. The full card runs 4–6 hours.
