About WhatTimeIsTheGame
Sport is scheduled for someone else's prime time. The NFL runs on US Eastern, the Premier League on London, the IPL on Indian Standard Time — and everyone outside those windows does mental arithmetic before every game. WhatTimeIsTheGame does the arithmetic for you: typical start times for every major sport, converted to where you actually live.
How the conversions work
Times are converted using the full IANA time-zone database and recalculated every day, so daylight-saving switches on either side of the world are always reflected. Typical broadcast slots are evergreen patterns (an NFL Sunday early game is 1pm ET every season); individual fixtures move around them, so always confirm the exact start with the official schedule before planning your 4am alarm.
Our World Cup site
For the FIFA World Cup we run a dedicated match-by-match timetable at WorldCupKickoffTimes, covering every fixture of the tournament in European and other time zones.
How we stay free
WhatTimeIsTheGame is free. We keep the lights on through advertising and occasional affiliate links (for example to streaming services or ticket marketplaces), which never changes the times we publish. We are not affiliated with any league, team or governing body.
